Author Submission Instructions

This guide is intended to support authors during the submission process.  It has four parts:

  1. Setting up an account
  2. Abstract submission
  3. Full paper submission
  4. Revised paper submission

1. Set up an account

Go to easychair.org/account

Complete the form by providing your name and email contact details.

You will receive a confirmation email from noreply@easychair.org.  Use the link provided in the email to continue the account registration process.  You will be asked to create a username and password.

After the account is registered, you can log in to IATUL 2023 simply by clicking on the following link: easychair.org

2. Submit your abstract

Log in to the EasyChair website for IATUL 2023: easychair.org

Select “make a new submission” (located under the Author title)

Fill out information about each of the authors.

You must use the same email address that you signed up with when creating your EasyChair account.

Fill out the title, text abstract, and key words for your paper.

Select the track for your submission.

For IATUL 2023 we have 4 tracks (as shown in Figure 1.)  If your submission relates to more than 1 track, please submit the most suitable one, and then click on the continue button.

* Please do not add file/submit full paper at this step.

Finally, click on the “Submit” link to submit your abstract.

At the end of the submission procedure (a new submission or an update of an old one), you will receive a confirmation email from iatul2023@easychair.org. Once the review process is completed, you will also receive acceptance / rejection notification by email.

Need to update your submission?

After completing a submission, a new menu bar with the submission ID is created (as shown in Figure 2).  Use the links at the top right corner if you want to update any information about the submission and authors or withdraw the submission.

3. Submit your full paper

The IATUL 2023 Program Committee will review all abstracts submitted and will notify authors with results and a Paper ID.  The authors of accepted abstracts will be invited to submit full papers.  The deadline for full paper submission is March 31, 2023.   

To submit your full paper, log in to the EasyChair website for IATUL 2023: easychair.org

Use the links at the top right corner of the menu bar and select “Add file”.

Select the file you wish to upload.

Bear in mind that only PDF files are supported for the peer review process. 
Author information should not be included in the file text or file name.
Once you have uploaded a paper, you can change the file by selecting “Update file” from the right-side menu of the submission screen. 
Please note that you are unable to update the file after the full paper submission deadline (March 31, 2023). 

The system will send an email to confirm your submission. 
Once the full paper review process is completed, you will receive an acceptance/rejection notification with reviews by email.
Authors are reminded to check the originality of their text with plagiarism checking software before submitting to the IATUL 2023 conference.

4. Submit your revised paper

If your full paper is accepted, we will ask you to submit your 1st revised paper.  Please revise your paper considering all the reviewers’ comments and modify the manuscript accordingly.

To upload the revised paper, click on “Submission” and select “Update file” from the right-side menu of the submission screen. 

We might ask authors to submit a 2nd revised paper electronically if the publisher has further technical or formatting requirements.
