UAE Heritage Tour
10am – 3pm
Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Centre for Cultural Understanding – SMCCU, Dhow cruise with lunch
Delegates will visit SMCCU for the opportunity to learn more about the culture and heritage of the UAE. A tour of the Al Fahadi Historical Neighborhood is followed by a personal discussion on customs and the move from traditional Bedouin life to the modern day with an Emirati national. From here, we board a traditional dhow (boat) for a cruise with buffet-style Arabic lunch along Dubai Creek, observing the modern and traditional city sights along the way.
UAE Futuristic Tour
10am – 3pm
Our tour begins in the Museum of the Future, where visitors are invited to explore immersive future environments designed to stimulate their senses and explore near-future technologies. We then move to the newly opened Mohammed Bin Rashid Library to browse the space and collections of a very modern public library. Lunch will be served at one of the venues.
